Over the last few years we have participated in SA History Week organised by History SA. In view of the success of History Week, History SA have decided to run a month long history festival during the month of May. The theme is "About Time" and all the details of activities during this month can be viewed at www.abouttime.sa.gov.au.
Two events have been organised with a Mylor theme by the Mylor History Group and the Mylor Heritage Society. They are:
* Twilight Tour: Mylor People in the Stirling Cemetery. This tour will be led by Sue Laundy and will include anecdotes and stories related to former Mylor residents. Friday 13 May at 5.30pm
* Mylor Then & Now. This photographic display of Mylor's historical buildings as they were and as they are now will be held in the Mylor Hall between 11am and 4pm on Sunday 22 May. At the same time you can visit the Bootmaker's Shop across the road to view the restoration work currently underway.
